Ribwort

A member of the plantain family, Ribwort grows widely in many countries as a weed but is highly edible. Commonly used for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, especially to reduce inflammation of mucous membranes such as sinuses, nasal passages, throat and lungs. It also reduces production of mucous so is a useful herb in cases of congestion of the sinuses, ears and airways.
