Uses

Energy Elixir is formulated to support maintenance functions of most of the main organs and systems of the body. Particularly helpful during use of Intestinal Cleanse, as more oxygen minerals and other cell nutrients are made available to cells and fluids.
The elixir gives the body a rich supply of toxin-oxidising oxygen, tissue rebuilding materials as well as toning and nourishing properties to support ailing and tired organs. Contains several of the most curative herbs known.
 

Complementary Products

The effectiveness of Energy Elixir can be boosted by 566 General Tonic, 767 Kumarahou and 1022 Celtic & NZ Sea salt with Kelp.

*As with all tonics, 979 Organ System Revive may work much more efficiently after 1-2 weeks treatment with Intestinal Cleanse.
 

Dietary Advise

Best taken straight or by drops for infants. Can be taken in 50mls of boiled water as a tea. Do not sweeten. In chronic illness, begin treating at lowest dosage ¼ teaspoon until full dosage is acceptable (5 to 10ml, 3 to 4 times daily). Avoid - mucus-forming foods such as gluten, egg-white, chocolate, sugar, dairy, polyunsaturated oils, regular salt. Adopt - gluten-free grain foods, whole foods (greens, fruits, nuts, seeds), unprocessed coconut oil, 1022 Celtic & NZ Sea Salt with kelp, oxygen-rich water. For best results use with Intestinal Cleanse for 1 - 2 weeks. Swill prior to swallowing.
 

Precautionary Advise

Shake bottle vigorously prior to each dose. To accustom to product take a ¼ to ½ dose for the first 2 or 3 days. If taking prescribed medication, consult with your Doctor prior to using 'Malcolm Harker' herbal tonics. Avoid coffee or tea for ¼ hour before and after dose.

Do not exceed stated dose. Keep out of reach of children. While some sources suggest that some ingredients contained in this product should not be taken during pregnancy, Malcolm Harker M.H.D. considers that this product may be taken during pregnancy if the dose is reduced to a ¼ of the recommended dosage during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy or when attempting conception. Herbs

  • Burdock root (Arctium lappa - The root)Burdock root is nourishing to the urinary and respiratory systems. It supports joints and skeletal tissues, promotes glands and hormone balance and is also valuable in joint mobility issues. Burdock helps to maintain healthy skin.
  • Cayenne pepper or Chilli (Capsicum minimum - Dried pods)Cayenne supports blood flow and circulation. An aid to digestion, chillies can increase gastric acids that help ensure that there is enough acid to kill most bacteria in food and enable efficient digestion. A stimulant herb, Cayenne relieves pain in external wounds by numbing nerve endings.
  • Chickweed (Stellaria media)Demulcent, refrigerant herb. Used for hydrophobia and gland health.
  • Comfrey (Symphytum officinale - The root)A demulcent with soothing properties that help to eliminate mucus from the lungs. An astringent and emollient that is rich in allantoine, Comfrey root is also useful for healing skin tissue and speeding up wound healing. It also helps to reduce scar tissue.
  • Common vervain (Verbena officinalis)Used by Celts for releasing stone from kidneys, thus its celtic name 'vervain' meaning 'fer,' to drive away, and 'fain', a stone. A most efficacious herb for the bladder, urethra, the womb and kidneys. An anti-calculus herb prescribed for more than 30 complaints.
  • Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea - The root)Echinacea is an effective weapon that supports the body's defences. It is useful for respiratory conditions, and helps to stimulate the immune system.
  • Elecampane (Inula helenium - The root)This powerful anti-catarrh herb supports bronchial health. It is an expectorant and possesses strong antiseptic activity. The rich essential oils within Elecampane help to relax and soothe the mucilage. A bitter herb, its stimulating properties encourage the digestive system.
  • Ginger (Zingiber officinalis - The rhizome)This blood herb helps to increase the potency of other herbs. Ginger supports peripheral circulation, normal blood pressure and is useful for relaxing muscles and chilblains. It promotes perspiration and its carminative (prevents/expels gas) properties help to relax the stomach and relieve the feeling of queasiness.
  • Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra - Syrup made from the powdered root)Demulcent (soothing to the membranes), an agent for the adrenal glands, It's a herb that treats the liver, blood and gallbladder, and is useful for bronchial problems.
  • Rhubarb root (Rheum palmatum - The root)The properties of rhubarb include supporting bowel regularity and for cleansing the bowel. It is a good hepatic herb (useful to the liver) and is also a stomachic tonic (improves stomach functioning).
  • Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium - Flower and leaf)A blood tonic, wormwood has significant anti-microbial and vermicidal properties that aid in the expulsion of worm infestations. It also has carminative (prevents/expels gas), anti-bilious (removes excess bile) and supports menstruation. It is also a hepatic herb so it is good for the liver, and is invigorating and stimulating to the digestive system.
  • Yellow dock (Rumex crispus - The root)This alterative herb, (restores normal health) has properties that include hepatic (good for the liver) and cholagogue (stimulates the gallbladder). Its gentle action encourages bowel regularity. Yellow dock also acts as a blood cleanser and is iron-rich.

Seaweeds

  • Carrageen (Irish Moss) (Chondrus crispus)Malcolm Harker tonics are unique in that every syrup, elixir and quintessence is created with unprocessed Carrageen seaweed syrup as a base. It gives syrup texture and provides ocean minerals and trace elements (including iodine) to each product. The bromides and halogens within seaweeds represent some of the greatest healing and nutritional elements for the human body. It is this seaweed-nutrient matrix that offers up to 30% of each product's therapeutic properties and efficiency.
  • Kelp, giant (Laminaria)Highly nutritious, the properties of kelp strengthens the circulatory system and supports balanced cholesterol. It is high in calcium and iron, so is a great tonic for the bones, teeth, nails and skin. It is beneficial for supporting normal blood pressure, helps to eliminate toxins and is useful for the digestive system. It also contains Omega 3 oils which are highly beneficial to the health.
